After the long drug-bender that was the PISCES season, (enhanced to the hilt by a MERCURY retrograde repeatedly conjuncting NEPTUNE), this ARIES NEW MOON is like a tall cup of coffee. A venti. No cream. Time to wake tf up.

As charming as the dreamy NEPTUNIAN state can be, it's a relief to break on through to the other side with ARIES. Even now, we're only 2 days past MERCURY having being fused with NEPTUNE for what literally felt like an eternity, so understandably, there is still a little sleep in our collective eyes.

Well, it's go time now. We need all of our energy and wherewithal and chutzpah and focus for the tasks at hand.

The CAPRICORN party (and by 'party' I mean 'ugh') is still picking up force, and at this NEW MOON we have SATURN, SOUTH NODE, and PLUTO within 3 degrees of each other. It's time to pry the crusty old funk out of our lives and out of the empire of politics and government. The only aspect to the NEW MOON/SUN is a square to SATURN in CAP, activating the entire CAP stellium. The whole world could use a good ayahuasca session with some heroic purging. We need to deeply stir the pot and loosen up the gunk in order to find a new and better way.

It's time to see the lay of the land clearly, and to get our marching orders for the year. It's been slightly delayed due to MERCURY the messenger God getting blotto for a spell... so it's extra pressurized now.

What is the message?

Let's ask the sky gods.

The 16 degree New MOON says:

NATURE SPIRITS ARE SEEN AT WORK IN THE LIGHT OF SUNSET.

Attunement to the invisible forces of nature that are activated by any growth processes are inherent in all biospheres, and help to guide, balance and harmonize, much like a human endocrine system.

At sunset it becomes easier to perceive them.

This Sabian symbol advises approaching life in an intuitive way, as would a little child.

20 degree SATURN says:

The message here is that we do have help from the other side, but we are going to have to work as a team, humans and nature spirits alike. They are just as invested in this as we are, and we need all the humans to do it, we've got to find a way to work together and heal the social schism that is verging on a civil war.

We had 7 years of revolutionary training from URANUS in ARIES.

Now with URANUS in TAURUS it's show time, and we have to fight smart for the soul of the earth.

The powers that be (don't get hung up on only the puppets, who are their puppeteers?) have chained her up in industrial farming, petrochemical fertilizers that leave vast dead zones, glyphosate in all of our wines, beers and cereals. There is weather manipulation, the ongoing leaking radiation of Fukushima, marine animals dying by the score, catastrophic floods in a new spot each month, devastating wildfires on multiple continents...

What's it going to take to wake us up? If we don't demand that these life destroying practices cease, it is us and the rest of life on this planet that will cease.

SATURN, PLUTO, and the karmic SOUTH NODE of the MOON are here to hold up the mirror. We are right on the edge. We have to change. This is like when the addict is resisting hitting rock bottom. We are one financial collapse away from a Mad Max reality.

It's Spring in the north which brings rising sap, mating animals, pollination, and fornication.

MARS ruled ARIES is both the passion of the rut and the warfare to defend, or chase down the object of desire. So in and amongst the rest of the to-do list, make sure you let spring fever (or fall fever if you're in the south) have its way with you somehow. Whatever floats your boat, blow off a little steam, somehow get your ARIES on in honor of this NEW MOON on April 5, at 15 degrees ARIES at 1:50am PDT.

Despite the strong emerging ARIES energy, we still have a PISCES parliament, consisting of VENUS the planet of love, NEPTUNE the god of the flooding, and MERCURY our plucky psychopomp who moonlights as the mailman.

They are sending much needed support to the NORTH NODE, all alone in CANCER with all the boogie men staring her down in opposition.

We must remember to stay in our hearts and to work together to try and turn this ship around to save the next 7 generations of every species on this planet with us.

I think URANUS in TAURUS will serve as a 7 year defibrillator on the heart of humanity, in an attempt to restore a normal rhythm,

because we are definitely not there now.
