A Deeper Look at Scorpio 🦇🦂🔥

I am available for consultations
{Southern scopes at bottom of page}
Scorpio season is the crucible of the year where we are asked and tasked with a raw, uncompromising look into our deepest feelings. It is only from that perspective that we can regenerate the places in us that have been deeply hurt and damaged; Scorpio is the gateway to healing, and the method is through asking hard questions without fear of the bare faced truth we find.
Scorpio season reminds us that we all were born into mortality. We will all be ashes soon enough, an awareness which activates the Taurus polarity point… which is infused with vibrant life. What have you come here to do?
What is standing in your way?
What do you need to honestly confront inside of yourself?
What do you need to change in order to meet these goals?
Facing your fears head-on is the catalytic essence of Scorpio medicine.
“It is a serious thing Just to be alive,
On this fresh morning In the broken world.
-Mary Oliver, born with JUPITER & MARS in Scorpio
The fixed-water, nighttime sign of Mars ranges from the lowest, darkest, parts of humanity to the loftiest peaks of transmutation
Steven Forrest says “For Scorpio, a compassionate relationship with the dark side of life is the holiest of holies.”
And the truth of the matter is that if you are not doing your shadow work then you are likely projecting it onto others and calling them out for work that is actually your own.
This dark time of the year, a season governed by Mars & Pluto, is made for this work, so don’t miss your chance. After this we expand into the Jupiterian ruled Festivals of Light, so trust that this is the designated, most medicinal time to dance with your shadow.
The shadow of the world is writ large right now in the festering conflict in the Middle East and it can be so tempting to bypass your own work while transfixed in this latest mass-formation psychosis. Each of us has both of these sides within us and the work to be done is inside your own unconscious mind, bringing the hidden into the light.
Can you hold empathy and compassion for all the innocents being brutalized without being emotionally hijacked by the media? They aim to stoke your deepest fears and anger, at all times, in order to harvest the ambient emotions. Taking media breaks is not a lack of compassion, it’s a survival tool for our brains that were designed to eat berries in caves vs processing all the terror of the world 24/7.
Scorpio season is a quiet time of reflection, of letting go like the falling leaves, a time to return to source.
Monday November 6
We start the week with a shamanic tone as the Waning gibbous Virgo Moon opposite Saturn insists on deep inner work. Telepathy is our birthright and these conditions favor it. The old year is dying and we are helping to hospice it as a part way for our own death and rebirth, within this life. Anything to do with love is very serious right now with Venus in Virgo trine Pluto. The darkness favors Dreamtime wisdom as does Mercury in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces. A very good day for divination and healing.
Tuesday November 7
Today is a day to focus on resources as the Waning Virgo Moon trines Jupiter in Taurus Rx. Be smart and be prepared to catch the Jupiterain wind in your sail. In the north it’s a good time to go mushroom hunting in the woods for a possible windfall. In the south it’s a good day to plan what seeds you’re going to start on the next good waxing, water sign moon.
Wednesday November 8
Mercury’s day wants us to focus on healing self and others. Venus enters her home sign of Cardinal Air Libra and we all rejoice as she loves to be home and will bless us with social graces and an attitude of and aptitude for fairness. After the natural reclusion of Venus in Virgo, we tumble back into engaging with others now, though the entrance may be a little verklempt thanks to the quincunx to Saturn. Give it a few days to loosen up. Mercury trine Pluto gives us x-ray capacity to see anyone’s true nature and to read between the lines.
Thursday November 9
There is more momentum now directed outwards as the Moon enters Libra joining Venus. Libra and Scorpio are the two most relational signs in the zodiac so we are craving deep and quality exchanges with others.
Friday November 10
There is a sensitive tone to the day as the relational Libra Moon opposes Chiron, activating some latent fears around not having the right to take up space in partnerships. This is Scorpio season so it’s a golden day to do the deeper work that becomes available when we are in strong feelings.
Mercury moves into Sagittarius now so we are newly armed with the capacity to speak the blunt truth of any matter. The initial square to Saturn may cool the usual hotheadedness of Mercury in mutable fire, activating a self censorship that is anathema to Sagittarius free spirit.
Saturday November 11
Ok today is a red flag day for two reasons: one) Mars in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus at 21°. This is sexy yes, but it’s also accident prone and hella confrontational. Don’t engage with anyone who seems inflamed as the fixed nature of this aspect means things could get activated and stuck in the red zone.
Two) the Moon in Libra on the South Node is the monthly trash compactor of relationship toxicity. Throw in the ongoing, nodal t- square with Pluto and you have a slippery day where one wrong move and you end up in the lower rungs of the Scorpio realm where everyone’s shadow is huge and up and it’s a hall of mirrors of everyone’s projections. Lay low and avoid the thronging hordes.
Sunday November 12
We kind of settle back down today as the darkest dark Scorpio Moon opposes Jupiter in Taurus. The Jupe influence is a place to land and ground but remember that every day of Scorpio season is medicinal and we only have about 10 left. Think of it like when you’re doing yoga or at the gym and the thing you’re doing is HAAAARRRD, but the longer you can hold it the more incredible the release will be after, plus you’re getting stronger. We are w trying a time in the world where we need to be as healthy and strong as we can and Scorpio season provides immense opportunity for growth. Tomorrow brings the New Moon and proper exist from that rigorous eclipse season.

SOUTHERN HEM HOROSCOPES Monday November 6
This is a temperamental and passionate day as the Leo Moon t-squares the whole Scorpio team plus the Taurus team. The sign of light challenges the sign of darkness, creating a potentially explosive and hot headed day, but not in a bad way.
