Well… here we are at the actual New Year start. This is a big week as Mercury joins Mars in stationing direct and the New Moon in Aquarius brings in Chinese New Year. Where I live in Northern California we are just today sloshing out of the wettest two weeks in a very long time. Feels like an appropriate welcome to the Water Rabbit. This week is largely a zone of changing tides, with the two planets that most affect our activity and communication, in the process of regaining their normal footing, speed and trajectory. Take it slow but allow for the New Moon at the end of the week to really fill you up and allow the current of 2023 to take you forward. ————— Monday January 16 Today the Scorpio Moon makes a t-square with Venus & Uranus, adding much electricity to the ongoing, smoldering vibe of the last few days. This is a Dark Moon day, on the way to a new one, but things feel spacious and light, with a settling into more serious tone once the Cap Moon begins. So use the day for both expansive thinking and getting aligned with any errant responsibilities that you’ve been ignoring.
