Pisces Season is finally upon us….the last archetype, that contains them all.Mutable water is the sign of the fish, and this Jupiter ruled Green Room is where we reach open-hearted unconditional love, and the logos of being a part of it all. There is no separation and magic is real. The shadow side of Pisces is a desire to get the heck away from the hard, the dystopian, the struggle… it’s an understandable urge. Wherever you have Pisces in your chart is where this mystical and mythical drama plays out.

Venus & Mars have joined ranks and will travel through the second decan of Aquarius this week, arm in arm. When Venus & Mars are together, the masculine and feminine are balanced, and the sign of Aquarius already has an androgyny to it. The second decan is ruled by Gemini, emphasizing this current twinning by Venus and Mars. Relationships are more team-like than romantic right now. You’ll get more mileage out of mental adjustments like insights and good conversations than anything else right now.

Relationships are in the hot seat in general with the South Node in Libra, so use this rare blend of Venus and Mars in Aquarius, near Pluto to evaluate and improve the friend quality of any romantic relationship you are in.

The North Node & Chiron are momentarily puffing tough at 16° Aries, lighting a fire of healing under all our asses to give way less fucks than normal. Be fierce, be energetic, be impulsive, and direct and stop worrying about what everyone else thinks of you. The truth is that most people are mostly thinking about themselves.

The Sun and Mercury may be melting into Pisces but the rest of the heavens are engaged in very individualistic and driven Aries and Aquarius, so continue working on your individuation, and really practice listening to the content of what someone says or writes vs reflexively, automatically taking the position of your “side”. Need I remind us that the left wing and the right wing belong to one bird. And we need both wings to fly. The people in the highest levels of power benefit so much when we fight each other. We are entering times where we will really need each other in families, and aggregations of families in community. Its ok to not see eye to eye on things, diversity is the spice of life and homogeneity is the extinguishing of life.

SOUTHERN SCOPES AT BOTTOM OF PAGE

Monday February 19

Things have been so very dry with all the air signs, but things change today with the Sun entering Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac. Additional wetness can be found in the Moon into Cancer. Sensitivity is way up this week. We effectively reset our nuance meters under Pisces. Pluto’s new presence is making Aquarius air feel like a blow torch, so we are grateful for the soft falling rains of Pisces.

Tuesday February 20

Pisces Season is here as a medic squad for all that we’ve been through since early October. Pisces assuages the pain, mops our fevered brows, as the Cancer Moon gives us a sip of broth. Life is filled with highs and lows as we round the Sun again and again. Pisces is where is all dissolves back into beauty and magic. It’s a very ephemeral vibe and the downside is that it can be hard to gain any traction, so surrender a little bit and let the yin of Jupiter have it's way with you and restore a little bit of faith and hope in humanity.

Wednesday February 21

The New lunar hot-seat award goes to Leo who opposes Pluto upon entry. After that intense ingress, the Moon will also oppose Venus & Mars traveling together in Aquarius. This is high stakes drama and an inability to sweep things under the rug that applies to all relationships.

Thursday February 22

The Leo Moon opposes the Mars Venus team, and we feel frisky! In the north we’re just a month out from the Spring equinox and in the South the days are getting shorter and shorter. Either way we need some action today, the kind that makes us feel alive. The Moon also squares Jupiter, adding some extra grandiosity to the day.

Friday February 23

Mercury enters Pisces today under a Leo Moon who spends much of the day void of course, so it’s likely to be a bit of a spacey, between the worlds day as we get the hang of the Mercury most akin to whale song, or echolocation/sonar. We’re under a waxing moon now, so all the energy is building building building to the full moon, but this is not a grounded day so cut yourself and others some slack.

Saturday February 24

The Full Moon opposes not just the Sun but also Mercury and Saturn. Some ease and luck is drawn into the story from a trine with Jupiter. We’re down to the last few months of Jupe in Taurus so drink deeply of all the material nourishment he is providing in this sign. But this is a rather austere Full Moon considering it's in Pisces Season, but once every 28 years, Saturn visits Pisces and we spend 2.5 years tightening up the ship. Is your physical vessel sea worthy right now? Or does it need extra care. This full moon is a bright light shined on your physical habits. Where do you need some structure? Why don’t you put it in place yourself rather than waiting for someone else to require or impose it on you. “You must never stop being whimsical. And you must not, ever, give anyone else the responsibility for your life.” Mary Oliver

Sunday February 25

Today is a chance to wrest some order from the chaos as the Virgo Moon opposes Neptune, and trines Uranus. The medicine of the Virgo Moon under the Pisces Sun is always to bring some solidity and soundness to the slippery and ethereal Pisces magic.

HOROSCOPES FOR SOUTHERN HEM

Monday February 19

The Sun, South Node, and the Moon are all linked in a Grand Air trine today helping us return to an expansive openness after yesterday’s Saturn square. This is the last day of mental Aquarius season, tomorrow takes us into the mutable wetness of sweet hearted Pisces.
