Pluto Enters Aquarius 👽👀

(S hemisphere below)

We have arrived at the biggest week of the year by far. In the next seven days we:

begin a new zodiacal year on Monday with the equinox, we start a New Moon at 0° Aries on Tuesday, we witness Pluto enter Aquarius after 247 years on Thursday, and we have Mars finally leaving Gemini on Saturday.

Pluto will take each sign all the way to its worst expressions in order to purify and ultimately create the best. Aquarius is the sign of revolution, the sign of humanity, the sign of progress, the sign of the mind, the sign of the anthropologist from outer space, who’s come here to observe and help the savage humans out. It’s the sign of rebellion with or without a cause, it’s the sign of all technology. In the next twenty years we will see the best and the worst of humanity, of tech, of scientific interventions.

It is straight up death/rebirth astrology.

The last time Pluto passed through Aquarius was 1777 - 1798, which saw two major revolutions, one in America and one in France. Take note of this, it’s likely to be important. As Mark Twain said, “History doesn’t repeat itself but it often rhymes.”

With Pluto in Aquarius, power will be associated with intelligence, and there will be an attempt to accelerate the speed of evolution.

Pluto in Aquarius is progressive, sophisticated, and precise and will introduce new tech & AI paradigms.

Friends are about to become even more important. Blood relations are lovely, but your chosen friends represent who you are; this transit will bring an intense refining of your social groups.

The shadow side of Pluto in Aquarius is to follow the herd, and there’s certainly been enough of that over the last few years… so instead of losing your soul to the group, be courageous and honest with your friends and dial in the people who are your true soul family, as community will be the only way to make it through the next phase of culture.

Pluto in Aquarius will drive progress but will also create some who resist progress completely. Inevitably this planetary combination will also bring a new generation of Luddites.

Ultimately the next twenty years will be a big push for a higher quality of life, but Pluto can impose progress. The people in power have different ideas about what this means vs what the masses do…That’s perhaps where the über Aquarian concept of revolution comes in…

Monday March 20 Happy Equinox! Spring in the north, Autumn in the south… either way we have day & night meeting briefly as equals before one side gains the upper hand. This is the day that the Sun crosses the Aries Point at 2:24pm pacific time and we begin the zodiacal journey once again. This is no ordinary equinox as it is the gateway opening now for Pluto’s epochal shift, first time into Aquarius in 247 years. Take a deep breath and buckle your seatbelt as we enter the Cardinal fire of Aries, the ignition of life.

Venus in Taurus joins the Head of the Dragon today indicating clearly that the way forward asks us to ground out and grow around the themes of food, land, water, and currencies.

Tuesday March 21 The Moon becomes New as it joins the Aries Sun at 00° at 10:23am pacific time. Take a deep breath and launch yourself alongside the Sun & Moon into a rebirth for the ages as this week hosts the Pluto shift as well.

All the Aries planets are answering to Mars in late Gemini still making a square to Neptune that spills into the Aries stellium. Things are seriously ratcheted UP right now, in case you haven’t noticed…

Wednesday March 22 Aries Moon with Chiron & Jupiter on this last day of Pluto in Capricorn before we add Aquarius into the mix. Mars makes a tense inconjunct with Pluto, helping this day to feel a bit like a string instrument that is tuned to tightly. Take deep breaths and do your best to not be reactive, as the rest of the world is likely to be.

Thursday March 23 Here we go… into the brave new world represented by Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto is a generational planet that marks the outside edge of our solar system ….The late Aries Moon makes a parting square to Pluto in Cap just before the Lord of the Underworld steps out of Saturn’s nighttime sign into Saturn’s daytime sign at 5:24am and immediately begins to square the Moons nodes

The Taurus Moon joins the NN this afternoon which feels like an important message today: STAY IN YOUR BODY, let the pleasure of your five senses guide you.

Friday March 24 The Taurus Moon translates the light from Venus to Uranus this morning as we wake up getting used to the new frequency of Pluto in Aquarius. These are eccentric, psychedelic, existentially insecure times that ask us to both stay connected to what it truly means to be human, and from that place extend ourselves out into the cosmos.

Saturday March 25 In the early morning hours on the west coast Mars, our red hot planet of gumption, mojo, & warfare gets out of its interminably long passage through Gemini and cannon balls into Cancer, a sign in which it’s really doesn’t feel great. Mars wants to kick ass and take names in a direct manner and filtered through the Moon’s sign creates an unavoidable passive aggressive & moody vibe. So take note as the mood of the general public is going to reflect this for the next eight weeks. The hack is to track the Moon like it’s a secret decoder ring that will tell you what to expect each day.

Sunday March 26 Things lighten up today as the curious Gemini Moon interacts playfully with the Sun Mercury & Jupiter in Aries. It’s springtime in the north & Autumn in the south, both are delicious buffer seasons that gift us with ephemeral beauty. Despite all the things to worry about, try instead having some optimism that ultimately it’s all going to be ok, even if the journey there is arduous. We came here to learn, to grow and to play.

Let yourself see things through the innocent eyes of a child today.

In light of the economic realities of 2023, I am opening my practice to an ongoing sliding scale from $175-150 for full length readings.

Monday March 20 The Moon leaves Aquarius and enters Pisces & then immediately joins Saturn and sextiles Venus in Taurus. These are wildly ungrounding times if we look to old ways of navigation, our guides are here to help us through. Whatever way you connect to the divine, I suggest you turn the volume UP.
