It’s time for a fireside check-in.
As we all know & feel, things are tightening around resources as Uranus continues to stress the Taurean themes of food, economy & land. Chances are these conditions will continue for a while.
So what do we do?
We take our cues from Uranus who says it’s time to think outside of the box.
Even in a recession we still need to live our lives, and the key now, and moving forward is to find ways of exchange with each other that don’t fully depend on the fiat currency of our countries.
That’s where barter & trade come in.
As we move into this uncertain future, I still want to be able to help and teach you should you desire these services from me.

Welcome to October, the beautiful month that hosts Samhain and the whole delightful Halloween season.
This promises to be a very intense month including two eclipses, and this week Mars reaches the nodes which historically has often been volatility & violence, and this one is amplified with a square to Pluto grinding away at the last degrees of Cap, at his station degree. Yikes.
Venus also finally clears her shadow meaning we are entering new love territory for the first time since July 17. She also changes signs this week for the first time since June 5.
We are preparing to enter winter in the north while the southerners are spreading their wings to get some well deserved Sun.
What do you like to do to celebrate the spooky Libra season?
I collected some fall leaves this morning and dipped them into melted beeswax and hung them from our kitchen window. Tiny stained glass windows that perfume the house with the scent of vanilla.
The world is not getting any less chaotic but remember…

Monday October 2
We kick off the week with a flash of electricity as the Moon crosses Uranus. This could bring jarring news or flashes of insight. Things may not be exactly what they appear as Mercury opposes Neptune and we benefit by scrutinizing where in our lives there may be parasites, on any level.
Tuesday October 3
We feel some emotional reticence, or uncomfortable confusion today as the Moon squares Saturn in mutable signs. Deepening this mood is that Mars in Libra has arrived on the South Node. The on-going theme of the South Node in this sign is a constant tidal pull OUT on dysfunctional relationship tendencies. With Mars here the dial gets turned up to high and confrontations rooted in disatisfacton are likely. Don’t get stuck there, but meet any process that gets activated head on. Mercury makes a trine to Pluto today as well, which grants a deep capacity to perceive shadow tendencies. But…. are you projecting?

A good day for productive thinking about old relationships patterns that have been problematic and for coming up with ways to shift these patterns.
Thursday October 5
Our Mercurial focus moves from solo endeavors to what we can do as a team with Mercury entering Libra. The Moon enters sentimental Cancer striking a chord with Saturn and all the feels emerge.
Friday October 6
We are torn between staying in and going out as the third quarter waning Moon squares the Libra Sun, but Venus trine Mars tips the scales into wanting to have some fun with people you love.
Saturday October 7
This is big red-flag astrology as the super sensitive Cancer Moon opposes Pluto and they both square Mars on the nodes. Beware of meltdowns and confrontations. It’s honestly a good day to just stay home and read a book. Avoid the news and other people’s triggering moods.
