*South Hem Scopes Below* We are emerging from eclipse season worse for the wear geopolitically.
In response to the initial attacks, Israel has taken Gaza “back to the Stone Age” by mainstream media reports. An eye for an eye and the whole world is blind as the US, Russia, Egypt, Iran, China, and Turkey are all positioning themselves for greater war.
The US Pluto return is working everybody over, micro and macro. Eclipses are always accelerants and these have been no exception.
Acapulco was for all intents and purposes destroyed on Wednesday by a tropical storm that grew to a Cat 5 hurricane at a freakishly fast speed, taking nearly everyone by surprise. It arrived at midnite, with no rain and 200 mph winds and they have had no help from anyone except residents, until today when the Mexican gov finally began efforts to help. As it stands now they have no water, no food, no electricity, no internet and nearly the entire 500,000 person population is homeless.

Watching this holy war flare up, and seeing people so filled with bloodlust and calls for genocide… this will keep us on the cycle of reincarnation for a very long time to come..
We continue to be churned by all these events, with the macro soul-purpose being awakening our compassion and realization that we all have so much more in common than differences. I pray for all the innocent victims of this war, on both sides. The amount of devastation is heartbreaking .
This week Saturn stations direct at 00° Pisces. He is not super strong in this sign but his influence is greatly strengthened this week while he slowly changes direction. Saturn in Pisces is a big reality check for everyone, to see if the current operating system holds water. If not, it will become abundantly clear and we will have to recalibrate accordingly.
This week hosts sacred cross-quarter day and witches’ new year, Samhain or Halloween. Halloween imagery gives us clues to the guides during this time:
Pumpkins represent the abundant harvest, bats represent rebirth and being able to see in the dark, and candy represents the need for sweetness and nourishment as we walk through the valley of death.
The thin veil between worlds means your beloved dead are close and you can talk to them. Build your altars and tell their stories. They miss and love you still.
Samhain teaches us to face and not fear the darkness. It’s a good night for divination, for celebration, and for cutting cords with the old year.

We need and want depth and illumination in our relationships.
The veil is thin and the spirits and ancestors pour in and get to spend some time amongst us today.

Dia de Muertos or All Souls’ Day hosts a cozy Cancer Moon trine to the Sun Mars & Mercury in Scorpio plus a sextile to Jupiter. Blessings abound as we get a chance to connect with our family that lives in heaven. You can take your cues from the Mexican’s and take elaborate picnics to the cemetery and celebrate and tell their stories and share their favorite foods. It’s such a healthy relationship to death that we can all learn from. I’m excited to visit with my Dad today in this way..

The Cancer Moon is talking with almost everybody today as she’s part of a grand trine with Neptune and Mercury, plus a grand cross with Pluto and the Nodes. Everything is stirred up! Tuck into your feelings today and see where they take you. The monthly Moon opposite Pluto can be quite sensitive, so placed in the Scorpio season we might as well make it an art from and go full goth today. Cue up your favorite emo playlist. The Sun also opposes Jupiter today, injecting some good feelings into it all so it’s not a red-flag day but it’s definitely a big feelings day.
