Full Moon Flowering: Venus into Virgo
Virgo is the sign and season of work. Over the last week I have harvested and processed elderberries, elderflowers, peaches, cucumbers, apples, purple beans, and made an elderberry nettle oxymel. It’s delightful and ecstatic work that will pay off in nourishment and medicine over the next six months, and I am far from done.
This is the time to take our health and healing into our own hands. By the time you need a medical doctor for an acute condition, there has been perhaps months, even years of time when you could have been using herbs and foods tonically to prevent dis-ease. Virgo and the Virgo part of all of us knows how to doctor, to heal, to see where there are rifts in the weave, where imbalances can settle in and grow.
Take a good look at your habits and patterns this week. Where do you indulge in crimes against wisdom? Where can you add in some new healthy habits to offset some less savory ones? Physician Know Thyself, and we are all our own physicians.

Monday September 5
Venus has entered Virgo and is now taking her cues from Mercury in Libra, amplified by a separating opposition with Jupiter. The Capricorn Moon is talking w Uranus and the Sun, in an earth sign pow-wow, looking into the coming months, coming up with some plans. Earth signs really love concrete plans, so make some. Mercury trine Mars in air reflects a very mental and analytical week, combined with natural alchemical approach of Virgo to improving and bettering our lives.

Today hosts the monthly Moon Pluto meeting in late Capricorn, bringing attention to the deepest, darkest parts of our psyches, asking for purging, healing, and ultimately love. Cut yourself and your loved ones some slack today, this can be a tough passage.

The Moon sheds the earthy skin of Cap and launches into the future-gazing air of Aquarius, immediately engaging with Mercury Mars and Jupiter. If you aren’t content with what your life is offering you, lean into the effort require to make some improvements. Only you can really change your life.

Hey, it’s my birthday! The Aquarius Moon links up with Saturn today to evaluate the structure of your future planning. It’s a good day to be thoughtful and to make some to-do lists for what the next 6 months might bring.
Europe is facing an unprecedented (this word is becoming threadbare) energy crisis heading into the fall and winter, so if you live there.. what prepping steps can you take to create some padding in your world? If you are in the northern hemisphere, winter is coming so get busy. In the Southern Hemisphere, summer is coming so take advantage of the warmth and the growing season.

The days before the Moon is completely Full are better for working magic than the completely Full day, so do some intention setting today for the next month. What are you calling in? Happy Uranian Neptunian Pisces Full Moon! There is all kinds of magic afoot today. This is the Harvest Moon and is very healing in a way that allows you to see your life through the eyes of a child. Your inner child wants to play and be blessed and wants to bless you. Get yourself into some untouched nature today if you can, and or tuck into a favorite storybook.
