(You can find S hemisphere at bottom of page) This week Venus retrograde disappears from the night sky and enters the chambered heart of the Sun in a meeting called Cazimi. As Venus makes an inferior conjunction with the Sun she is touching one of her star points and rebooting a 584 day cycle. Venus appears only as morning star and evening star and her entire cycle is as follows: Venus appears as a morning star for about 263 days, then she is invisible for about 50 days when behind the Sun (which is where we are now), and then she reappears as the evening star for about 263 days. In the opposite superior conjunction times, Venus is not visible when in front of the sun for about eight days. The Venus retrogrades are very special in that over an eight year period she visits each of her star points in an inferior conjunction with the Sun, forming a perfect five pointed star, which is the symbolic root of why five-petaled roses are sacred to Venus. This is an important time to touch in deeply with self love, which is the root of all other love. The Venus retrograde is a spiritual purification where the dross is burned away leaving a shining heart of gold. ------------------ Monday August 7 The week gets going with an earthy combo of a waning Taurus Moon trine Mercury & Mars in Virgo. This is a rooted and industrious combination where itās time to turn your thoughts to seasonal shifts which are imminent. In the north we are seeing got days and cold nights as we have passed through the Lammas gateway, while in the south winter is thinking about giving way to spring. When we start a new season there is always a call to begin to shed the old. So take some time today to evaluate your piles and lists and get the upper hand.

Friday August 11 The Moon moves into Cancer today making a trine with Saturn, helping us stabilize our emotional body. Venus is in the greenroom, getting all dressed up to the 9ās (Leoās you knowā¦) to meet with the Sun. Today is an inbreath of anticipation for the imminent Cazimi.
Saturday August 12 The Cancer Moon sextiles Jupiter, which is good for family fun. She also squares Chiron meaning that there might be some issues that come up with family while having the fun. Use the day for conscious family healing.
Sunday August 13 It's the monthly Red-Flag day known as Moon conjunct Pluto. This is taking place back in the Cap/Cancer axis of family, and is augmented by the grand cross with the nodes. As always, take it easy today because feelings are likely to be running extra high or extra low. ANDā¦more significantly, in the wee hours Venus enters the golden hearted chamber of the Sun King and they meet, which is a very special condition called Cazimi. This is Venus meeting with Aslan the Great Lion from Narnia as she shares her plans with him and he signs off on them.
